Title: Bound (Angel Warrior Files Book 1)
Genre: Christian Fiction (Short Story)
Author: Vicki V. Lucas
I love trolling Amazon for new authors, especially those of the indie nature. I want to support them as much as I can. I bought Bound a few weeks ago on amazon because the series sparked my interest. A book about angel warriors – how cool!
Have you ever wondered about the unseen battle between good and evil going on around you? Have you ever felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up for no apparent reason, but you also feel an intense urge to pray? I actually have, so this book really hit home.
Bound is based on the accounts from two missionaries, Ron and Bruce. They had been preaching about salvation for five days, and yet not one person had accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Feeling like failures, they accept defeat and plan to head home, but God has other plans.
I won’t spoil the read by divulging too much information, but I would recommend this story as a great way to ring in the New Year. Ms. Lucas has done a wonderful job painting a picture of the unseen battle between Angels and demons. I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
